Planes, trains and........automobiles!!

Morning all, just a cheeky little blog before I head out on the start of a new day in now sunny (for a little bit at least) Canada!!

Well, the time has come to leave beautiful Quebec.  The city was amazing, the weather not so, the hotel was great, the restaurant for breakfast even more so and the people have been so lovely.  Had great last breakfast here sat in front of an open window enjoying the sunshine and chatting to Geoff and Bob from Chicago (Bob was not his name I'm sure but my goldfish brain forgot it so Bob it is....) about travels, life and things to do in Quebec! I love being a tour guide!

So today marks a new chapter in my adventure, and one I must say I am a little nervous about!  I've done planes, I've done trains and now it's time for automobiles! Yes, I'm off to pick up my car which will be with me for the next 9 days.  It will be named, once I see it, and once I've got to grips with the whole 'everything is on the different side and I must remember to drive on the right and give way to traffic on the left etc etc etc' my car and I will be heading off to Montreal!!

The weather channel is still swinging from beautiful sunshine with 91% humidity to thunderstorms, tornados and roads collapsing but I am taking it as it comes, slow and steady and listening to my sat nag who will hopefully be able to guide me in English.......!!
